Welcome letter - 124th IATP Conference

Dear Delegate, 

Welcome to our 124th IATP Conference. 

After two virtual conferences, we are very glad to meet you again in person in Copenhagen, but also virtually, thanks to the support of Altitude Global and SAS!

The IATP Board of Directors and Corporate Office Team have been evaluating the worldwide situation and the potential physical attendance of the Members. Based on the results of the survey conducted among the Members, the Country’s situation, and other organizations scheduling physical events during the same period and in locations with similar sanitary situation, we decided to organize a physical event in Copenhagen. 

We understand some companies are still limiting their employees’ travel; for this reason and to enable as many delegates as possible to benefit from the event, we decided to provide some digital support and live-stream some of the operational sessions. We hope this solution will help to maintain the communication among the delegates, enabling a smooth continuation of their duties and businesses. 
Considering the “hybrid” format of the conference and the different time zones of the delegates joining virtually, the appointments can be scheduled any time (24/24) after the official conference opening, on Monday October 18, 2021. However, please note that the Exchange/Bilateral Meetings rooms at the Tivoli Hotel have limited opening hours; please check the schedule for more information.
We hope the guidelines provided by the Corporate Office Team to all the participants clarified how to make the most of the event based on the attendance type. Please do not hesitate to contact the Corporate Office Team at info@iatp.com should you have any questions.

We are all pleased to meet again face-to-face and resume live discussions and business connections building: we expect all delegates to go through the safety measures implemented to ensure a safe event for all attendees.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak and its impact on the aviation industry, we noticed a high turnover in the delegates previously involved in the organization; therefore, we strongly encourage all first-time attendees to join the Introductory sessions that will provide more information about IATP and the pooling principle. All details can be found in the conference schedule. 

Finally, election for one Full and one Standby Board Member positions will be held during the conference considering the Board of Directors currently consists of only four members as two of them had to step-down. As some IATP members could not attend physically the conference due to the traveling restrictions, for the first time IATP will use an online election platform.
