Why to attend?

How to make the most of the conference?

1. Marcom ACE will be accessible from September 17, 2021 until up to one month after the event closure.
    
2. As per IATP policy, Authorized Guest Vendors attending the conference will be activated on Marcom two weeks before the Conference.
    
3. Please make sure Marcom ACE time zone is correctly set-up based on your local timing at the conference time (GMT+2 if you attend the event in person; your local time if you join virtually).
    
4. Please add the Conference Sessions/Webinars you wish to attend to your Marcom schedule.
   All Conference Sessions will take place physically; the sessions also available online as webinars are indicated on Marcom with the mention.
   To join the conference sessions:
   - Please check the schedule and go to the meeting room indicated for the session if you attend physically;
   or
   - At the webinar date and time, a button  becomes available (either in the Program or in your Schedule); please click on “Join Webinar” to open the Zoom Webinars page. 
    
5. Schedule your bilateral meetings with other participants, either physically attending the event or joining virtually.
   To join your meetings: 
   - with on-site participants: at the meeting date and time, simply go to the selected meeting room or Meeting Point (i.e. flags placed in the Exchange meeting room on Monday & Tuesday, to help you easily find the delegates who you fixed appointments with) and welcome your counterpart.
   - with remote participants: at the meeting date and time, a button  becomes available in your Schedule to access your virtual meeting, click on the icon and “Join Meeting”.
   
   Please note:
   - In the participants’ list, an icon   differentiates the remote participants from the on-site ones.
   - The meetings scheduling is one-to-one, but additional participants can block the timeslot in their own schedule to be free and join the meeting on-site or be invited through a link once the virtual meeting has started in Zoom Meetings.
   - The meetings can be scheduled 24/24, however, the exchange/bilateral meeting rooms at the Tivoli Hotel have limited opening hours; please check the program for details.
   - Please do not forget to block the timeslots during which you will not be available (night time, meals, etc), so participants you want to meet will not be able to schedule any meetings during those timeframes.
   - There is no limitation on meeting duration, but please remember that the slots in Marcom ACE are assigned for 20 min, so exceeding this time you could miss the next scheduled meeting.
   - The meeting locations selection will depend on your and your counterpart’s type of participation: if at least one participant is joining virtually, the platform will automatically select “Virtual” as location; if both participants are attending the event in person, you will have the choice between different locations, such as Exchange Meeting room, Bilateral Meeting room, and Meeting Points.
   - We recommend on-site attendees to cluster their virtual meetings together in order to carry them in their room and avoid the noisy environment of the exchange/bilateral meeting rooms, or to leave a 20-min timeslot after a virtual meeting to enable them to comfortably come back to the Tivoli meeting room.
    
6. We warmly invite first-time attendees to attend the introductory sessions scheduled on 17 – 18 October 2021 to learn more about IATP Organization and the pooling principles.
